Getting ready to countdown to the New Year 2012. An awesome view across the bay to the Singapore Financial District. The golden lit colonial style building is the Fullerton Hotel. The balls in Marina Bay are lit purple by lasers but are actually white and carried handwritten New Year’s wishes as part of the Countdown Celebrations.

Every day different light and views. Even storm clouds have their appeal when viewed like this. The beach was very narrow due to the high tide. I was right up against the sand dunes and got my feet wet taking this one. But it was worth it.

Took a wonderful walk along Belhaven Beach – famous for its “Bridge to Nowhere” – image to follow – and enjoy magnificent views along the miles of sand and fascinating cloud formations and reflections on the wet sand. Belhaven, Dunbar, Scotland.
